Chemical Treatment

Chemical treatment is a practical and cost-effective method to control deposition. It involves mechanisms of threshold inhibition and crystal distortion, where chemicals prevent or retard the growth of scale-forming crystals. These chemicals interfere with crystal nucleation, leading to distorted, easily dispersed scales. This property allows for operation at higher pH and a high cycle of concentration.
